The Democratic Party of Washoe County Executive Board is seeking a new Second Vice Chair.
The Second Vice Chair, in addition to general board duties, is the Chair of the Fundraising and Events Committee.
The DPWC Executive Board is a working board, with each member having defined duties per the Charter and Bylaws of the Democratic Party* (Article IV). While the requirement for being an executive board member is simple: “All officers of the party shall be active voting registered Democrats in Washoe County,” serving on the board is a commitment. The term of each board is two years and generally requires daily attention to board communications as well as regular participation in meetings and activities of the DPWC.
If you are interested in serving as our next Second Vice Chair, please send an email to express your interest with a description of your qualifications to our Chair, Sarah Mahler at firstname.lastname@example.org, and to our Executive Director, Denise Lopéz at email@example.com.
The deadline for the application is midnight, August 21, 2017.
