Local Democrats hold Mock Caucus to prepare for 2012
Join WashoeDEMS and get involved in the caucus process!


RENO – The public is cordially invited to join the Democratic Party of Washoe County (WashoeDEMS) for a Mock Caucus in preparation for the 2012 Presidential Election.

·    What:       “Mock Caucus” (aka Maucus!).
·    When:       Tuesday, Dec. 6, 5:30 p.m., followed by a Holiday Potluck.    
·    Where:       WashoeDEMS Headquarters, 1465 Terminal Way, Suite 1, Reno.

“This meeting will be an overview of how the Jan. 21 precinct caucuses will be run,” Pam duPre, Executive Director, said. “Come see what’s changed from the 2008 caucuses, and consider becoming a temporary caucus chair – it will be much easier this time!”

duPre added, “Bring a Democratic friend, as this will be a fun and informative way to introduce new Democrats to the ‘family.’ And bring your favorite dish to share at our holiday potluck,” added duPre.
